What drives you Sukhy?
A passion to improve the world for our future generations and to get the most out of life. I want to look back when I am old and be proud of the life I led and the difference I made; I want us to be a strong role model on how to be truly happy and successful and how to live a life that is rich and rewarding. I am energised by individuals who want to make positive changes in their lives and am continually excited by the wealth of opportunities and possibilities that exist to be explored in our own internal worlds as well as the world at large.
Why is it critical to support Asian women in business?
This is an area of huge untapped potential. Asian women provide a distinctive blend of skills, they are conscientious, driven and natural collaborators; I see the situation as having two facets - support is needed so that organisations recognise and utilise their achievements, skills and different perspectives in more senior roles and support is also needed to make it easier for Asian women to step more fully into leadership. With strength and confidence they can create an even more powerful impact bringing with them their unique set of skills and an open-minded inclusive outlook.
You are an outstanding sportswoman, a life coach, a business consultant and a mum. How do you manage to juggle all this in one life?
Passion, focus and a positive mental attitude; Being clear on what I want out of life and setting clear goals and intentions around that. I don t believe in getting distracted by time wasting activities like watching mindless TV. I look after my mental and physical well being so I have plenty of energy and enthusiasm to do the things that are important to me.
How can someone contact you for advice and support?
